A Vision of Self-Reliance
At Tarang, we believe that world-class design and engineering should not be an exclusively imported luxury. The vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (a self-reliant India) is woven deeply into our DNA. We set out to design and manufacture a kinetic sand art table that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the finest global brands, built entirely on Indian soil.
Sourcing Indigenous Materials
The soul of a Tarang table lies in its materials. We partner with local timber merchants to source sustainable Indian hardwoods, known for their rich grains and durability. The metal chassis and glass tops are fabricated by specialized Indian glassmakers and machinists, creating an ecosystem of localized craftsmanship.
Local Engineering Talent
The robotic heart of Tarang is designed by Indian engineers. From the custom PCB layout to the firmware controlling the silent stepper motors, every line of code and schematic is developed locally. This not only allows us complete control over the quality but also enables rapid iteration and innovation.
Why It Matters
By manufacturing in India, we eliminate the immense carbon footprint and cost associated with shipping heavy furniture across the globe. This allows us to invest more in the quality of the components while keeping the final piece accessible to Indian design enthusiasts without the burden of heavy import duties.
Tarang is more than just a piece of furniture; it is a statement that premium, gallery-grade kinetic art can be born in India.
